Corrections Policy

Sandman Sports is committed to accuracy. When we make a factual error, we correct it promptly, transparently, and visibly.

How we handle corrections

  • Factual errors: When we discover (or are notified of) a factual error in a published article, we update the article and add a dated correction note at the bottom explaining what changed and when.
  • Significant rewrites: If the correction substantially changes the meaning of a story, we update the headline if necessary and note the change in the article.
  • Typos and formatting: Minor typographical or formatting fixes are made silently and do not require a published note.
  • Removal: Articles are not removed except in cases of legal requirement, severe inaccuracy, or significant ethical concern. When an article is removed, the URL displays an explanation rather than a blank 404.

How to request a correction

If you believe an article contains a factual error, contact us at [email protected] with the article URL, the specific claim you believe is incorrect, and any supporting evidence. We respond to correction requests within two business days.
